Connie Neumann, 53, of Nauvoo, Illinois passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:37 P.M. at the Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison, Iowa. She was born on December 7, 1959 in Fort Madison, Iowa a daughter of Rollin and Elizabeth Lucille Robinson Kline.
Survivors include her mother: Elizabeth “Liz” Kline of Hamilton, IL; a daughter: Summer (Lucas) Mangels of Malta, IL; two sisters: Deborah Arlene (Steven) Bolton of Hamilton, IL and Jacqueline May Whitaker of Hamilton, IL; aunts and uncles: Jack Lee (Sidney) Kline of Dallas City, IL, Max Arthur (Beth) Kline of Merquon, IL, Mary Elouise (Phillip) Fedler of Fort Madison, IA, Dorothy Irene (Delno) Hein of Stillwater, MN, Donna Ray (Bob) Brandel of Becker, MN, Barbara (Richard) Bolton of Nauvoo, IL, Sally Bennet of Carmen, IL, Sharon (Dennis) Blind-Dodson of West Point, IL, Susie Marshall of Burlington, IA and Linda (Chuck) Tripp of Nauvoo, IL; 5 nieces and nephews: Lacey (Adam) Dilbeck, Jesse Whitaker, Rikke Whitaker, Anthony (Amy) Bolton and Lisa Bolton; and three grandchildren: Ethan, Gavin and Finlee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rollin Kline.
Connie graduated from Hamilton High School class of 1978. She attended Carl Sandburg College Nursing School. She worked at the Montebello Health Care Center in Hamilton, IL, a nurse for B.T.R. and as a volunteer E.M.T. for the Hamilton ambulance for over 25 years. Connie enjoyed scrapbooking, her dog, Oreo, and loved the time she spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 after 3:00 P.M. with the family meeting friends between 5:00 and 8:00 P.M. at the Lamporte - St.Clair Funeral Home of Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lamporte - St. Clair Funeral Home of Hamilton with Pastor Charles Trip officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Hamilton, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
